Updated: Dec 7, 2017

Jasmine essential oil is ideal for inducing long, restful, and undisturbed sleep. Its behaviour as an expectorant, sedative, and antispasmodic combine to create the best situation for falling asleep and staying asleep for the entire night, reducing signs of insomnia and sleeplessness. For the Spirit: Jasmine can help people who lack confidence or who are indecisive. It is especially calming for those times when one feels disconnected, out of control, not knowing what to do. Whenever fear, vulnerability, anxiety and depression cut us off from the ability to share physical pleasure and affection, jasmine can support and reassure, allowing the heart to flow again through the river of the senses. It can also restore a capacity for creativity, for “fertility of the mind”. With the Moon as its astrological symbol, the oil may be used to enhance intuition and original thoughts. Jasmine is most applicable for the kind of depression that results from unconscious restraint and repression, an approach to like based on values discordant with the individual soul and its true desire. Jasmine blends well with Bergamot, Sandalwood, Rose and citrus fruits Tip: Jasmine flowers bloom only at night Jasmine is a precious essential oil often referred to as the 'King of Oils'. It reflects optimism and is an excellent choice for mental and physical exhaustion. It has an affinity with the female system and has been a classic perfumery ingredient since the 16th century.
