Wintergreen Pure Essential Oil

Diffusion: Use three to four drops in the diffuser of choice. 

Topical use:

For massage, mix 5 drops with 10 ml carrier oil.

For bath, mix 5 drops with 5 ml carrier oil.

For perfuming, mix 1 drop to 10 drops carrier oil.

• Methyl salicylate can be poisonous if large amounts are absorbed through the skin over time.
• People who are sensitive to salicylates shouldn’t use wintergreen oil
• Methyl salicylate and wintergreen oil can both increase the effects of anticoagulant and blood-thinning drugs.

It’s important to note that wintergreen oil or methyl salicylate can exacerbate the effects of anticoagulant drugs, such as warfarin.

Individuals who are taking blood-thinning drugs or who have bleeding disorders, such as hemophilia, should not use wintergreen oil.

• Do not use undiluted on the skin. Avoid contact with sensitive areas, such as eyes.
• Keep out of reach of children. Do not use essential oils on children under 5 years old.
• Women who are pregnant or breastfeeding should never use wintergreen oil.
• For external use only.
• Best kept in a cool dry place.
